Investigation of the Semiconductors Supply Shortage in the German Automotive Industry since the COVID-19 Pandemic.

為了解決automotive automobil的問題,作者柯純安 這樣論述:

Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, the global economy experienced the fra- gility of today's supply structures. The automotive industry is one of the most important factors in German economy, suffers particularly hard from an enormous semiconductor shortage. The industry was hit by a perfect stor

m, which describes a maximum disaster whereby multiple influences act disruptive on the supply chain. These factors are politi- cal, environmental, technological and social, challenging the automotive and semicon- ductor producers along with the pandemic. The thesis explores the issues of the crisis

and will answer the research question ‘by which measures can the semiconductor supply chain of the German automotive industry be optimized, to be more robust in the future’. The research questions will be addressed by conducting extensive literature review and in seven depth-interviews with experts

from automotive and semiconductor industry. The experts confirmed all challenges of the allocation, found in literature review (per- fect storm). Further, they stated that increased transparency and collaboration along the supply chain is necessary to stabilize the situation, as well as investments

in inventories and technology. Hence, the automotive industry needs to evaluate the sustainability of their on-demand order behavior. The question whether semiconductor production in Europe is reasonable remains open since there are several advantages and disadvantages to that. Overall, it can be s

aid that the measures to prevent the crisis in the first place, were insufficient.

群聚之國際競爭力:德國巴登-符騰堡州與墨西哥新萊昂州汽車產業群聚之比較分析

為了解決automotive automobil的問題,作者葉詩婷 這樣論述:

The present thesis analyzes and compares the international competitiveness of the two selected automotive clusters Baden-Wuerttemberg and Nuevo Leon, applying Porter’s Diamond model. Therefore, the basic theoretical knowledge concerning competitiveness and cluster theories is explained, and the aut

omotive industry is briefly introduced. Based on the literature review and the available data, the author selected and defined assessment criteria within the six competitiveness factors of Porter’s Diamond. Applying this analysis framework, the author investigated both automotive clusters in detail.

The findings indicated a higher competitiveness level of the automotive cluster Baden-Wuerttemberg in all elements of Porter's Diamond. The analysis and the comparison demonstrated the German cluster's strong innovativeness, maturity, and high international competitiveness in contrast to the develo

ping, regionally and nationally competitive Mexican cluster, which is transitioning from a mere production hub to a research location. In light of the thesis results, the author finally proposed recommendations for both clusters to sustain and strengthen their competitiveness.
