太陽能發電是透過太陽能板照射到陽光後透過化學反應轉換成DC電流,但台電只能接收AC電流,因此就要透過變流器將DC電流轉換成AC電流。變流器會因為零件磨損、老化而發生故障的情況,以現行的監控方式,只能在變流器發生故障而無法正常發電時,發現該電廠變流器的即時累積發電量無任何變更,監控系統才會判定為故障,變流器故障無法發電期間會造成收益的損失。因此,如何有效診斷變流器的故障是值得探討。本研究將針對太陽能變流器開發一診斷系統,以期能預測診斷變流器的失效預估時間。在診斷故障機制上,透過太陽能變流器抓取到的即時發電資料,運算變流器的交流與直流數值,分析其變異係數進行故障預測,發現異常時,預測系統即時通知

管理者,讓管理者做後續的派工與設備調度。研究結果顯示,透過模擬出的變流器出的交流與直流數值,所分析出的變異係數斜率特性連續8天上升不降,可判斷該變流器即將故障並停止發電,預測系統可以預先發出警告訊息通知管理者,減少維修待料時間2周以上。因此,本研究所設計之太陽能變流器診斷系統,將可達到診斷變流器故障的目的。
