本論文包含兩種多極化天線的設計，第一個設計的多極化天線有四個輸入埠，分別對應到四種不同極化，包括兩正交線性極化、右手圓極化及左手圓極化。在第一部份的設計特別著重於四個端埠的隔離度改善，我們透過適當設計激發振幅及相位與天線結構，使得各埠之間的隔離度在-10dB阻抗頻寬範圍內皆大於15dB，特別是兩線性極化之間利用了奇偶模饋入的方式來達到30dB以上的高隔離度。相較於其他文獻，此天線具有更佳的隔離度並且維持多重極化特性。而第二個設計的多極化天線利用PIN二極體、微波電路縮小化技術及移相器，設計出了一個新穎的極化切換電路，其能使天線的兩線性極化皆為奇模激發，而兩圓極化為0∘, 90∘, 180

∘, 270∘及0∘, -90∘, -180∘, -270∘相位分布的序列旋轉法饋入。根據上述的激發特性能夠有效的改善天線的極化純度及增加圓極化的軸比頻寬，因此此電路對於極化可重構天線設計有極大的好處。
