計的方式相當適合低年級學生學習，更有助於提升學生的學習興趣，但少部分的新北市國小教師建議修正新版教科書開本尺寸，以及建議不應過度設計並應尊重視覺設計師之專業，最後對於新版教科書的出現，有教師認為是有助於推動美感教育。
