近年來我國薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器(TFT-LCD, Thin film transistor liquid crystal display )產業面臨各國的競爭及供需結構變化,導致產品獲利能力低落,連年嚴重虧損。欲擺脫此競爭劣勢,可從研發新技術與成本管控著手以增加競爭優勢。然而新技術研發並非能一蹴可及,但成本結構的改善可隨即檢討並執行。對於製造成本的減少製造成本,首先以TFT-LCD 面板製造成本分析,得知微影製程技術中的關鍵材料為光阻劑,其所佔化學品成本比例為14%。針對TFT-LCD製程中光阻用量改善議題,本研究藉由PDCA(戴明循環)改善方法結合實驗設計法來分析光阻耗用之原因加以改善,透

過擬定之實驗步驟流程逐步完成驗證,獲得最適化的塗佈參數組合,單片光阻使用量由25cc改為20.7cc,光阻材料成本之改善效益,可節省18.7% 成本支出。
