綠膿桿菌 (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) 屬於革蘭氏陰性伺機性病原菌，本研究經過顯色培養基與抗藥性鑑定35株綠膿桿菌均屬於多重抗藥性菌株。ERIC-PCR將其分為七大群，實驗結果證明ERIC-PCR及抗藥性與噬菌體的敏感性無關聯性。此外，本研究從醫院附近的廢水中分離取得2株可以感染多重抗藥性綠膿桿菌的噬菌體，分別命名為phiPA1-3及phiLCL12。穿透式電子顯微鏡觀察顯示 phiPA1-3為尾部非收縮性的短尾家族Podoviridae噬菌體，phiLCL12則具有收縮性的長尾，屬於Myoviridae家族。噬菌體phiLCL12 (88.5%) 的宿主範圍高於噬菌體p

hiPA1-3 (8.5%)。兩者在10分鐘內皆可達到約九成的吸附率。在測試不同MOI條件下，噬菌體phiPA1-3與phiLCL12均可有效裂解P. aeruginosa PA001及LCL12。噬菌體phiPA1-3與phiLCL12的Burst size分別為20及182 PFU/ infected cell。噬菌體顆粒穩定度測試，溫度50℃ 下phiPA1-3存活率下降70%，phiLCL12維持95% 存活率。pH的變化耐受範圍，在pH11時噬菌體phiPA1-3及phiLCL12存活率為50%；酸性pH3下噬菌體phiPA1-3失去活性，噬菌體phiLCL12的存活率為56%。基因

體定序結果，phiPA1-3及phiLCL12的DNA總長分別為73402 及66071 bp，分別包含93及90個ORFs。G + C百分比為54.7及55.7%，經分析鑑定兩者個別屬於N4-like及PB1-like噬菌體。phiPA1-3及phiLCL12 的基因體中皆不含 tRNA或任何抗藥基因及毒力因子。噬菌體接受器分析，噬菌體phiPA1-3及phiLCL12主要以LPS或多醣體做為接受器。噬菌體phiPA1-3及phiLCL12皆可有效預防生物膜的形成及清除生物膜。以斑馬魚分析噬菌體的治療效能顯示，注射噬菌體phiPA1-3及phiLCL12的治療組別三天後斑馬魚存活率皆為50%

。綜合上述，噬菌體phiPA1-3與phiLCL12可評估應用於噬菌體療法，以對抗多重抗藥性綠膿桿菌。
