隨著醫學科技進步及生活品質的提昇,致使人口結構逐漸朝向高齡化的趨勢發展,須重視高齡者的需求;其中,高齡者對於交通工具的需求愈來愈高。然而,不當的標誌設計不僅影響一般駕駛者,對於高齡者的影響更甚,尤其在外在環境的干擾之下,如:雨天、霧氣、夜間、不同色溫等條件因素的影響下,常造成交通標誌的視認性不佳,致使未能在最短的時間內對於路況做出即時反應,而造成交通意外事故。本研究希望藉由警告標誌及可變資訊標誌視認性的探討,瞭解高齡受測者對交通標誌的視認能力及當交通標誌受到不同環境條件的干擾時,對高齡者視認性的影響。本研究主要目的在探討高齡者對交通標誌視認性的影響,研究方法採受測者於實驗室透過顯示器接受模擬

測試,紀錄受測者對標誌視認的最小絕對閾值。本研究依標誌的類別,劃分為兩大研究範疇,說明如下:範疇一:為高齡者對警告型交通標誌視認性之研究,其中包含:1. 探討高齡者對不同符號類型警告標誌之視認度,其目的在探討警告標誌中「意表符號」和「象形符號」的標誌對高齡者的視認度及探討高齡者和一般受測者兩者之視認差異性。2. 探討高齡者對警告標誌於不同環境之視認度,目的在探討不同環境條件,如一般、下雨、起霧及傍晚對高齡者視認警告標誌之影響,以及探討「意表符號」及「象形符號」警告標誌在受環境因素的影響下何者有助於高齡者視認。另比對高齡者和一般受測者兩者之視認差異。範疇二:為多變資訊系統於不同環境中之視認性研究

,其中包含:1. 探討高齡者對可變資訊標誌之字體在不同環境中之視認度,目的在探討可變資訊標誌中不同的中文點陣字體於明暗背景下對高齡者的視認性及可變資訊標誌中不同字體受不同環境因素,如:下雨、黃昏色溫、起霧等因素,對高齡者造成視認度的影響。另外,探討可變資訊標誌中不同文字間距及行距對高齡者在視認上的影響。2. 探討高齡者對可變資訊標誌的文字色彩於不同環境中之視認度,目的在研究探討駕駛者對於可變式資訊系統字體色彩的視認值,實驗條件包括:模擬不同明暗的可變式資訊系統背景色、黃昏低色溫環境、起霧的環境、日照及夜間環境等條件,另外比較一般及高齡駕駛者對可變式資訊系統不同文字色彩的視認能力差異。除藉由以上

研究問題探討,了解高齡者對上述交通標誌之視認能力外,並比對現有警告標誌是否符合交通部所公布的最小安全停車視距及可變資訊標誌是否符合理想的視認距離,最後更針對視認度不良的交通標誌,提出理想的標誌設置距離及加大標誌尺寸之建議,以縮減高齡者視認交通標誌之時間,進而降低高齡者行車事故的發生機率。本實驗採實驗室模擬,量測受測者對於交通標誌之視認角度,採用閾值的量測法為極限法 (Method of Limits)中的下絕對閾值(lower absolute threshold)。透過將視角轉換成視認距離以了解現有警告標誌及可變資訊標誌是否符理想視認距離。在高齡者對警告標誌的視認度實驗結果顯示,高齡者駕駛對

警告標誌的視認能力遠低於一般駕駛者,高齡族群的視認角度大於一般使用者約1.6倍,另外,「意表符號」的警告標誌視認度高於「象形符號」警告標誌。而當行車速度為時速90公里時,所有標誌均無法達到交通部所規範的最小安全停車距離。在所實驗的環境中,傍晚環境的視認度最差,其次為起霧環境。另外,在高齡者對可變資訊標誌的視認實驗結果得知,對於一般受測者而言,中圓及中黑體視認性較佳,而對高齡者而言,中圓及中楷體視認性較佳,適度增加文字間距及行距可提升其視認性,現有紅色文字色彩之可變資訊標誌在白色文字背景的視認性高於黑色背景,在兩實驗族群在所有實驗變項中,均呈顯著性差異,高齡受測者僅為一般受測者約二分之一的視認能

力。現今標準紅色文字的視認度不佳,倘若以黑色為文字背景,以黃色的視認度最佳,藍色最差,紅色次差;若以白色為底,則結果相反。視認角度主要受明暗對比的影響。此外,各種文字色彩在白色背景的平均認度低於黑色背景,而在夜間環境視認度高於日照環境。高齡者在多數實驗中未能達到理想視認距離,尤其以霧氣環境中最為嚴重。

國立高雄師範大學地理研究所碩士論文摘要研究所別:地理系碩士班論文名稱:高雄市美濃白玉蘿蔔栽種的發展過程─從粗放到集約對地方意義的分析指導教授:許淑娟研究生:陳思吟論文內容:共一冊,文約5萬8千餘字,分五章16節,約以1,700餘字扼要說明摘 要早期高雄市美濃區在二期稻作收成後至一期稻作栽植前的裡作時期,以從事菸葉種植為主,曾是有名的「菸草王國」;而菸葉契作制度的取消與台灣於民國91年(2002年)加入WTO之後,菸作面積的大幅衰減,導致美濃區在裡作期間種植原本菸葉的田區,裡作作物如何轉變?從菸作沒落後,當時美濃鎮的農會與地方團體積極討論替代作物,針對長久以來種植菸葉的老農,推廣以往種在菸田

旁畸零地的「小蘿蔔」,並命名為「白玉蘿蔔」。民國91年前,白玉蘿蔔種植面積僅約5公頃左右,民國93年~95年則約30公頃左右,在民國95年(2006年)舉辦白玉蘿蔔季後,隔年白玉蘿蔔的種植面積大幅提升至172.62公頃,後來都維持在100公頃以上。種植面積的擴增,引發我們對美濃地區農業轉型的好奇?何以生長期只有短短40天的白玉蘿蔔,能發展為地方盛事,吸引觀光人潮?美濃農民投入種植白玉蘿蔔的情形為何?究竟白玉蘿蔔分布在美濃的哪些地方?而沒有種植白玉蘿蔔的農田,裡作作物又是如何轉變?農民如何調適裡作期間栽植的作物?在民國95年舉辦白玉蘿蔔季之後,美濃地方又有哪些改變呢?基於上述提問,本研究透過資料

收集、訪談、田野調查等方法,分析美濃地區白玉蘿蔔的栽種條件和空間分布,並釐清白玉蘿蔔農作的粗放性與地方意義的關係,及探究觀光化後美濃白玉蘿蔔的相對集約性與地方意義的連結。 研究結果發現,蘿蔔適合在冷涼的氣候及鬆軟深厚的土壤區生長,才能向下紮根,土壤與空氣中的濕度要高,但蘿蔔怕雨且不適宜灌溉。白玉蘿蔔在美濃區符合上述條件的播種時間為9到11月間,且以10月播種最佳。提早播種遇雨容易爛根,過晚播種則蟲害較嚴重,故白玉蘿蔔有時間特定性。為避免與其他品種蘿蔔混淆及農民搶種而影響價格,農會會控管種子品種,以確保品質與價格,讓美濃白玉蘿蔔成為有空間特定性的作物。在北部美濃山下,夜間霧氣濃,最適合白玉

蘿蔔生長;而台28線以南的平原,因土層較薄不利蘿蔔向下紮根,多種植淺根的紅豆與其他豆類,所以冬季裡作期間在美濃地區可發現大致上以省道台28線為分界,出現「紅白相映」、「紅白大對抗」的農田景觀:平原北部以栽種白玉蘿蔔為主,平原南部則以紅豆等豆類植物為主。民國95年舉辦白玉蘿蔔季之前,農民在民國91年加入WTO之後的調適期間,種植面積較廣的裡作作物先後有玉米、胡瓜、菜豆等,白玉蘿蔔種植面積僅佔30公頃以下,顯示栽種情形仍屬粗放。農民選擇裡作作物的因素主要有四:一為利潤考量,農民會選種利潤高、價格好的農作物;二為勞力多寡,勞力夠多會考慮栽種勞力密集的作物,反之則僅種植勞力相對粗放的作物;三為作物生長

收成時間,農民會同時選種兩樣以上生長期與農忙期不同的作物;四為栽培目的如食品安全考量、家人喜好、給親友進行農事體驗等。選種白玉蘿蔔的農民看中蘿蔔相對粗放的農事運作,整地種植後幾乎不須淹水、施肥,病蟲害也因生長期僅40天,相對危害較小。收成後即使生鮮無法銷售完畢,也可以加工醃漬延續商品價值。對美濃地方上來說,可以填補不種菸葉之後釋出的土地利用,不僅能增加收入,農事也相對輕鬆,也能充分利用農村老化的人力,地方上多了一樣被關注的農作。白玉蘿蔔季乃由美濃農村產業文化推廣的鐵三角:農會團隊菁英、美濃農村田野學會和地方年輕人共組的─野上野下文化公司,他們基於欲提升美濃白玉蘿蔔知名度,並促進物產銷售,而提出

以觀光活動推廣農產品的構想。舉辦白玉蘿蔔季後隔年(民國96年),種植面積則躍升為170.62公頃,最高曾達251.08公頃,顯示舉辦觀光化的白玉蘿蔔季後,資源投入的增加導致土地利用從粗放到相對集約的現象。相對增加的投入包含:可見的人、地、物、資本,及不可見的銷售管道增加、組織連結、制度、想法、情感的投入等。對美濃來說,白玉蘿蔔吸引了人潮與錢潮,也讓地方的能見度更加提高,由白玉蘿蔔栽植所衍生的休閒農業、有機農業、觀光農業、農事體驗等,讓農人也能分享自身的種植經驗,說白玉蘿蔔的故事,讓農人的自信與活力提升。白玉蘿蔔讓裡作期間的農地活化,土地經營相對集約,不但能增加農民的額外收益,也活用了農村的老年
