螺絲冷鍛成形導致加工硬化之研究

加工硬化或形變硬化,即金屬材料隨塑性變形而引起強度升高的行為,反映材料在均勻塑性變形中抵抗進一步變形的能力。它是工程材料力學行為最重要的現象,也是金屬作為結構材料被廣泛應用的重要依據。由於螺絲成形時,公模受到來自電動機驅動皮帶,進而帶動飛輪所產生的直線衝擊成形素材胚料,該胚料順著母模腔體的形狀成形,所造成的塑性變形,將使素材胚料產生加工硬化,進而增加材料的硬度與抗拉強度等機械性能。本研究便嘗試著研究螺絲扣件,在一模二沖打頭機(1-Die 2-Blow Screw Head Making Machine)中,所產生的加工硬化現象,對扣件品質所造成的影響。研究過程中將先針對成形後之扣件,以金相顯

微鏡觀察胚料在成形前,和成形後之晶粒結構變化。接著以微小硬度機在扣件螺絲上,每隔0.2mm距離進行硬度測試分析,以了解該扣件成形後在硬度上的分布情形;最後以萬能材料試驗機作拉伸試驗,以求得其在抗拉強度上的變化。上述實驗將搭配DEFORM 3D有限元素分析軟體,從5種不同線徑,來找出最適合成形的線徑,並透過成形後工件之應力、應變、速度場分布,與模具應力分析,來解釋加工硬化對機械性質所產生的影響。研究結果指出螺絲的成形縮減率越大,則抗拉強度與硬度數值越高,加工硬化的效果也越明顯,其金相組織則是從原本較大的晶粒,經過加工成形漸縮變成較小與狹形狀。模擬結果也顯現出近似的結果,如胚料外徑差距愈大時,材料

螺絲尾部牙山角度與造型變化對旋入扭力之探討

本論文研製之動機為改善木螺絲旋入扭力,藉由變換不同主牙之度數來達到降低旋入扭力之功能,起牙時牙山為40度,當螺紋接近尾端推拔處時牙山轉變為60度,實際鎖合時,當木螺絲尖錐處與木材接觸攫取時,因牙山為60度可先行進入木材,利用擠壓方式進入木材,將木材纖維剪切及擴孔,待木材通過60度牙山推拔處後,緊接著為40度牙山進入木材,因前行60度引導牙已擴孔及剪切木纖維,加上割尾不破(Type-17 non-through)設計後,旋入扭力降低約25.35%,讓使用者於螺絲施工時達到省力效果。
