　　本研究從觀察到近年來個人電腦市場上的顯示卡在價格出現異常上漲以及缺貨的現象，並且在市場上出現二手顯示卡的價格不跌反升的現象，還產生了一種新的零售模式，通路商要求購買顯示卡必需搭機銷售，因此想瞭解顯示卡在個人電腦市場上是否有出現供給與需求失衡情況，並且找出造成市場上顯示卡供給與需求異常的原因。　　分析上依顯示卡市場的供給方與需求方研究，並且經由訪談幾位有使用顯示卡的用戶來瞭解顯示卡市場上所發生的狀況，並通過網路聲量分析來確認網路上民眾對顯示卡缺貨的普遍想法與認知，分析的結果發現顯示卡的供給與需求失衡現象是因為顯示卡的需求量大增，並導致近年來的顯示卡價格大漲以及缺貨現象，其中以加密貨幣挖礦的

需求最為旺盛，礦工在評估能在加密貨幣挖礦獲利的情況下大量買入顯示卡，使得顯示卡價格上漲並且供不應求，此外近年來的疫情關係所衍生的居家工作及遠距線上學習，也使得民眾在家玩電競遊戲的需求提高，也相對提升顯示卡的需求；雖然在供給端也有因為疫情關係而產生的晶片荒現象，但整體來說並沒有對顯示卡供給端造成太大的影響。
