為了解決Pixlr X的問題,作者郭家驊 這樣論述:

As the world goes digital, both advertising and content creation has shifted online in the form of various formats like search, display, images, digital videos and live streams. Graphic content is commonly created through popular professional graphic software like Adobe Creative Cloud’s Photoshop o

r Illustrator. While professional designers prefer using professional graphic software due to its comprehensive set of advanced features, there is an emergence of web-based graphic software available online. Most online graphic software adopts the “freemium” business model, where free and paid versi

ons of the software are available. Users get basic features at no cost and can access richer functionality for a subscription fee (Kumar, 2014).The increased accessibility of these online graphic software has seen a wider range of users utilise its software compared to professional ones. These users

could range from students looking to create presentation slides to small business owners creating social media content for their brand. They may not have a background in design and this creates an opportunity to capture more users in this segment. To encourage more users to their platforms, online

graphic software companies will have to keep up with the needs and wants of their user demographic and potential users. This research will explore the various graphic software used by professional and casual content creators and the rationale behind their choices. As more people create content, we al

so take a look at how to improve online graphic software in terms of its features – taking cues from existing professional graphic software. This study aims to find out:1. the user demographics of online graphic software – who are using online graphic software and the profiles of users.2. how users

are using online graphic software – what are the reasons users for using specific graphic software, the kind of graphics users are creating on these platforms, and the features which are most commonly used.3. what motivates users to pay a premium, and which feature are users most willing to pay fo

r.4. how existing online graphic software should improve in terms of features. To answer these questions, interviews will be conducted on users of professional and online graphic software to gain a deeper understanding of how users are utilising these software and specific reasons that led to them u

sing it. This includes exploring commonly used features that are important to interviewees and finding out why they are essential. Next, understanding their existing pain points and suggestions to improve existing software. The interviews would help to narrow down themes that are relevant to users.B

ased on findings from our in-depth interviews, survey questions will be formulated to answer the research questions in four main sections: Demographics, Usage of Online Graphic Software, Usage of Professional Graphics Software, and Improvements and Recommendations.According to the results of the stu

dy, 80% of users were under 30 years old and were using graphic software for a combination of personal and professional reasons. Almost half of the respondents had a formal education related to design. Users found that the creative production process was the most time-consuming part and was most wil

ling to pay for features that saved time. In terms of features, colour picker, having more file export formats and cross-device compatibility was the most popular amongst users. The top reasons users would use or consider using online graphic software were having a clean interface, user-friendliness

, free-to-use, having preferred file extension, and a wide variety of templates. The study was limited to interviewees and survey respondents primarily based in Asia and Europe, further research should be done to explore other regions to gain more holistic insights. Gathering opinions from leaders in

graphic software companies would have been a helpful addition to understand the industry from an insider’s standpoint.
