模鑄型變壓器的故障不僅會降低電力系統的可靠性，而且對電能質量也有很大影響。高壓電氣設備的環氧樹脂絕緣子中發生的局部放電（Partial Discharges, PD）會對絕緣產生有害影響逐步侵蝕絕緣介質，並可能導致電力系統停電。 PD的模式識別是提高高壓電氣設備可靠性的一個工具。在本篇論文中，提出了一種模糊邏輯聚類決策樹(Fuzzy Clustering Decision Tree, FCDT)來判斷模鑄型變壓器異常的局部放電缺陷。FCDT將層次聚類與決策樹整合在一起。層次聚類是使用最接近的樣本群集，一層一層擴大，再決定要分割成多少群組，是使用決策樹進行分類的預處理階段。本文提出的算法能夠採

用FCDT對模鑄型變壓器的異常 PD 進行分類，並將整個數據集依層次聚類劃分為一些分割屬性，並通過決策樹對每個分割屬性的模式進行分類，最終FCDT的分類結果與See5和CART進行分析比較，在分類準確度上FCDT的表現比CART和See5佳。
