本研究成功開發以農業剩餘資材-椰子殼轉製為高值化生質碳材-還原氧化石墨烯(reduced graphene oxide, rGO)之技術,並探討鍛燒程序之升溫速率及持溫時間對於rGO轉換成效之影響。研究結果指出,當升溫速率控制於5 ℃/min、持溫時間控制於10分鐘時,可獲得最佳的rGO轉換。此外,本研究亦建立低能耗且簡易之磺酸化程序於修飾rGO。本研究係以硫酸做為磺酸基(-SO3H)之來源,在熱處理過程中搭配定速攪拌,可使磺酸基有效附載於rGO表面。研究結果指出,當硫酸與rGO之比例控制於12 mL: 5 g、磺酸化溫度控制於140 ℃、磺酸化時間控制於4小時時,可獲得最佳的磺酸化成效。本

研究係以棕櫚酸配製模擬廢食用油,並取知名速食業之廢食用油為實廠廢食用油之代表。研究結果指出,於反應前3小時,該觸媒即可100%將模擬及實廠廢食用油轉製為生質柴油。此外,藉由該觸媒之磺酸基進行酸性催化酯化及轉酯化反應的過程中並不會產生甘油副產物,因而可有效地簡化後續產物分離之程序。
