以八角框架之核心驅動力探討品牌遊戲的玩家參與–以Vans World為例

自2020年1月新冠疫情爆發後，人們失去不少實體社交互動的機會，越來越多品牌，結合遊戲、虛擬實境與網際網路，打造「虛實整合」的網路空間，讓用戶可以在虛擬世界裡進行遊戲、社交與會議等各種活動，彷彿是一個全新的世界觀。而現階段產業間競爭都非常激烈，各家品牌結合自身資源與優勢來吸引消費者的目光，透過遊戲化的方式將遊戲中有趣的元素與機制加入，透過玩樂的方式讓人們持續對一件事情感到著迷，以提升參與者對品牌的興趣。本研究以「Vans World」品牌遊戲為研究案例，透過深度訪談法依據八角框架理論(Octalysis)討論遊戲的設計架構。探究三個問題意識：1.遊戲是否符合八角框架的遊戲化架構？具有哪些核心
驅動力？2.探討參與者的使用動機與行為？讓參與者產生持續玩遊戲的動機？3.遊戲是否達到品牌預期目標？並增加參與者的品牌黏著度？了解玩家在體驗完遊戲之後，對於整體設計的感受及是否對玩家後續的情感、認知及行為產生影響。研究結果發現，「Vans World」的遊戲化元素與機制符合八角框架的八項核心驅動力設計，但其中有三項核心驅動力相對來講較為薄弱，包含使命感、社會影響力及避免與損失這三大項目是品牌需要提升的遊戲機制。再者，促使參與者使用的動機與持續遊玩的核心要素主要以「鬆餅幣累積機制與競賽名次排行」為誘因，期望使用者能運用身體的力量產生動能。最終，遊戲化改變玩家遊玩遊戲的習慣與模式，除了增加打開遊戲
的時間與頻率外，還會因為對品牌有好的印象而連帶影響到購買意願，進而提升對於品牌的黏著度。
