聚苯乙稀在稀薄鄰苯二甲酸二酯溶液剪切流變性質探討

不同分子量 (5.5×105 ≦ MW ≦ 2×106 g/mol) 聚苯乙烯在DOP稀薄溶液中,於不同溫度 (295 K ≦ T ≦ 318 K) 下的剪切流變性質試驗與多個動態理論法則進行探討﹔包括Rouse 模型、Zimm 模型和FENE dumbbell模型。以高黏度DOP溶劑延長聚苯乙烯於稀薄溶液中的鬆弛時間,因此能在低剪切速率得到剪切致稀值 (shear thinning),確保流變儀使用同心圓夾具 (coaxial cylinder) 所量測值於可信範圍內。以Huggins 理論與Fox-Flory關係式得到不同分子量聚苯乙烯在DOP稀薄溶液中的臨界濃度,來確認所有試驗的聚苯乙

烯濃度於稀薄溶液範圍。由個別本質黏度與穩態低剪切流場實驗得到分子量與鬆弛時間的關係均符合Zimm 模型預測﹔另外穩態高剪切速率流場實驗得到非線性 (power-law) 關係,能藉著FENE dumbbells模型描素的很好。在不同溫度下的實驗數據,隨著分子量增加越趨近於TTS (Time-Temperature Superposition) 經驗法則。
