本研究利用實際部署無線區域網路案例,並透過一系列的實驗測試具有SDWN功能實驗組(Aruba AP)與不具有SDWN功能對照組(Rukus AP)來驗證SDWN機制的確可以確保high priority traffic (e.g., video stream)的服務品質,並且我們找出重要的SDWN操作參數以提供其他網路應用服務品質保證之參考。實驗數據中呈現當支援SDWN功能時,其實驗結果不論在接收封包總數、Inter-packet average spacing time及Inter-packet spacing time standard deviation都優於未支援SDWN的Test

machine。當隨著增加灌入一般流量,具有SDWN功能實驗組的接收封包總數、Inter-packet average spacing time及Inter-packet spacing time standard deviation幾乎都沒有改變,而不支援SDWN的對照組的接收封包總數逐漸減少、Inter-packet average spacing time及Inter-packet spacing time standard deviation都是呈現逐漸遞增的趨勢。捕捉Inter-packet spacing time主要是來反映Inter-frame spacing time,當In

ter-packet average spacing time越大,Inter-frame spacing time也會越大,Inter-packet spacing time standard deviation越大代表video播放時不穩定的現象越嚴重。我們也根據實驗結果建立了二個數學一般式來依實際流量需求調整決定SDWN最佳的High priority traffic設定比例,這個最佳設定比例可以避免保留太多high priority traffic的流量所造成之閒置浪費,如此不僅可以保證high priority traffic之服務品質,同時也可以儘量滿足normal traffic

的流量需求。
