本論文回顧超寬頻技術應用於車載系統發展之研究,包括介紹超寬頻發展歷史,歐美法規規範和IEEE的最新規範;介紹超寬頻技術的優勢,如在室內定位技術中比較分析其它技術應用,進而分析應用情境在車載系統上的相關應用;其次針對超寬頻天線設計選型介紹,最後根據電流特徵理論分析出適合安裝UWB天線在車體外最適當的位置,以及有金屬化玻璃天窗、車窗對天線的影響,提出建議針對不同應用情境在車體內外安裝UWB天線的位置。 目前超寬頻技術應用在車載系統下尚屬於初期發展的階段,在IEEE 802.15.4z 規範下,以飛時測距(TOF)應用於車載系統中的門禁系統為市場主要的應用,不同於其他窄頻無線系統設計,

超寬頻系統屬於高頻段、短距離的無線系統,易受全金屬車體與金屬化玻璃車窗的影響;本論文歸納出天線安裝位置於車頂後方為最適當之位置,若有玻璃天窗, 採用距離車頂天窗後方25 cm以上之位置、隱藏天線於車體後保險桿中以及車體的兩側,可選擇隱藏於兩側之後視鏡,車門把手處。在車體客艙內則可以安裝到車內後視鏡、中央控制台最高處、車內頂蓬處或車內後備行李箱處對外發射。除定位系統、車用門禁系統外,UWB天線可以應用在用於車內監測駕駛呼吸,感測是否有兒童被遺忘在車上。此研究的結果提供對UWB技術建構於車載系統中的天線設計與位置選定提供一定程度參考。
