國際品牌廠商對企業社會責任(Corporate Social Responsibility ,簡稱CSR)的重視與日俱增。早期之企業社會責任是指在企業商業經營運作模式上遵守或超越道德規範、法律以及公眾要求的標準,在經濟發展做出貢獻,並以改善員工及其家庭、當地社區、社會活動…等等,使得整個社會能平衡的發展。而今日所談之企業社會責任的概念是基於商業運作之外,更必須符合永續發展的目標。因此國際品牌廠商對企業社會責任的重視相對提升,當企業進行商業活動時,亦需考慮到對利害相關者所造成的影響,品牌廠商應擔負起一個良好企業所應負起的永續發展之社會責任。 本研究探討國際品牌廠商對供應商之社會責任第二者稽核,

以品牌廠商對供應商的行為準則及國際規範制度的RBA責任商業聯盟行為準則概述。準則中稽核供應商五大主題包括:勞工權益與人權、健康與安全、環境保護、道德及管理系統。並針對稽核結果:台灣企業第二者稽核、Apple及Google的供應商年度報告書與RBA個案稽核報告進行深入研究。本研究發現供應商最普遍的前三大稽核缺失是勞工、健康與安全及環境管理問題,供應商在面對不同國際品牌廠商的社會責任稽核,更應該積極去符合準則上的要求,確實做到計劃、執行、檢視與行動,立即改善並校正缺失,以滿足國際品牌廠商的社會責任第二者稽核的目的,一同邁向永續。
