大部分的流行音樂都有爵士鼓的伴奏，鼓手在樂團也扮演著非常重要的角色。對鼓手而言，節奏的準確度是非常重要的課題之一。初學者通常需要在練習的過程中，同時提升節拍的準確度和手腳的協調性；但頻繁且一成不變的練習是非常無趣的，初學者也因此失去練習的動機與熱忱。本論文研究主軸即為解決此問題而設計出一個有趣且貼近初學者的練習系統。 本論文研發出一套爵士鼓練習系統。系統透過MIDI線連接電子鼓，接收電子鼓傳送的MIDI訊號來獲得各種參數，然後以鼓譜結合節奏遊戲的方式呈現。音符會由右至左跑出，當音符跑到左區的固定區域時，使用者需要在對的時間點打擊相對應的大鼓、小鼓或腳踏鈸。本系統主要分成練習模式
