本研究旨在探討課責途徑認知、人格特質徑與警察貪腐容忍度之影響關係，並根據研究結果提出相關建議，以提供有關單位擬定政策之參考。本研究以台北市政府警察局為研究範圍，各分局之派出所之警察人員為研究對象，其次，依據相關文獻與實務經驗提出「課責途徑認知、人格特質與警察人員貪腐容忍度之研究問卷」，再以統計軟體 SPSS 進行資料的處理及分析，運用的資料分析方法包括描述性統計分析、因素分析、單因子變異數分析、獨立樣本t檢定及迴歸分析。本研究之主要結論為:一、課責途徑認知與貪腐容忍度呈現統計顯著之負相關。二、警大正期與警專正期畢業之警察人員，貪腐容忍度較低。三、「30歲以下」與「51歲~60歲」之警

察人員，貪腐容忍度較低。四、愈不重人情之警察人員，貪腐容忍度愈低。五、心理韌性愈強之警察人員，貪腐容忍度愈低。根據前述研究結論，本研究之主要建議為:一、強化層級課責與法律課責對警察人員之控制機制。二、加強警察人員之執法能力，以期作出合法、合理之專業執法裁量。三、建議將「人情認知」與「心理韌性」列入初期警察人員篩選、培訓之參考。四、強化警察人員的心理素質與建構合理之人情認知。五、單位主官應加強關懷31-50歲之警察人員，以減少貪腐發生之機會。六、年特班之教育訓練應加入貪腐相關課程。七、改善單位封閉風氣，完備檢舉流程及其保密配套措施，提高其檢舉意願。
